Es gibt tatsächlich Menschen, die kennen Asterix und Obelix nicht. So auch unsere US Nachbarn. Undum dem abzuhelfen, habe ich dieses Heft gekauft und es ist SEHR gut angekommen. Auch in englischsind die Sprüche gut. Man MUSS diese herrlichen Werke einfach der Welt zeigen.
Beware! Text difficult to readThe speech balloon text on all the Asterix comics I ordered was printed very thinly making it very uncomfortable for all of us to read. I had to return them all.I compared it with older Asterix print runs from 20 years ago which had a much better readability even though the older pictures were not so well printed.
Ich habe die Ausgabe für eine amerikanische Kollegin gekauft, die Asterix nicht kennt (glaubt man das?). Aber mein Mann und ich habe sie vorher eingehendst gelesen und uns wieder einmal an den Erinnerungen an die Kindertage erfreut - diesmal mit einem touch Erwachsenseins - denn in Englisch haben wir die Hefte zu Kindertagen (leider) nie gelesen.Eine Empfehlung an alle Eltern, die ihre Kinder zu englischer Lektüre kriegen wollen ... lest es in Englisch! (Mein Vater (O-Ton): "Du möchtest ein Eis? Wenn Du es auf Englisch sagen kannst ...?") ;-)
